Les Chiens Errants is a study of ferality (the wild state after domestication) through the specific case of dogs in the Atlas Mountains (Morocco). A monochrome, silent, and poetic narrative.

FLORIAN SONG NGUYEN — “ I started thinking about the first abandoned dog, the first one to have lost its purpose. Rejected by the world of men, yet drawn to it. Then came stories of margins and contours. Of lives floating between things. (...) Worlds within worlds. Spheres that touch, that coexist. I trained them in the forest of my symbols. The desire to plunge into their world to discover its vastness.  Then that night, the moon, like an immense yellow disc, rose from behind the mountains. The traces of their footsteps crushed my thoughts, tightening the knot in my chest each time. The red mountains had prepared the ground, and the earth beneath my feet had become soft. I had let myself be swallowed up. ”  

For this collector's edition, five Japanese-inspired slipcases were created containing the publication signed and numbered by the artist, accompanied by a unique and original ink drawing on paper in 21 x 14.8 cm format and a poster in 40 x 60 cm format.
